Jeremy Ben-David founded the Group in 1992, after identifying the opportunity to realise growth for POU water dispensers in the otherwise bottled cooler-dominated industry. Jeremy was initially responsible for the UK operations and the creation of Waterlogic UK. Subsequently he spent considerable time developing the international focus of the business and strengthening key global markets. This included the enhancement of the Group’s manufacturing facilities to improve productivity and global supply. As Group Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy is responsible for the overall strategic development of the Group, international business development and key relationship management.
Huw Jenkins joined the Waterlogic Group in May 2016 as Group Chief Financial Officer. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a wealth of international experience from corporate finance and M&A to operational delivery. Prior to Waterlogic, Huw was part of the Berkshire Hathaway group, where he was the CFO for Marmon Retail Science. Previously he held several senior finance roles including Divisional Financial Director and Head of M&A for IMI Plc. Huw also spent 11 years with Deloitte during his early career.
Mark Taylor joined Waterlogic in November 2016 as Group Chief Commercial Officer. Mark joined the Group from Regus plc where he was the Global Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing. Prior to Regus, Mark was at Diageo plc for 18 years where he covered a variety of general management and commercial leadership roles in the UK, USA, Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mark has experience in senior leadership roles in multiple geographies ranging from general management, M&A commercial due diligence, category development and customer acquisition. At Waterlogic, Mark is accountable for driving the Group’s Sales and Marketing agenda with a heavy focus on digital both in lead generation and conversion. In addition, Mark drives the multiple brand agenda across various trademarks within the Waterlogic Group and countries, including Purezza and Billi.
Dominic Shorrocks joined Waterlogic from Sky TV in January 2020 as Group Chief Operating Officer, and brings with him a broad range of operational and strategic business experience. During his career he has worked across the service, supply chain, product development and manufacturing sectors in the UK, Europe and US, leading complex transformation, assisting growth delivery and bottom-line improvements in large customer-facing businesses.
Amy Becker joined Waterlogic in June 2017 and is responsible for the Group’s acquisition growth strategy and delivery. She was previously at Anglo American, where she was responsible for M&A and new country entry and was Chief of Staff to the CEO. Before this, Amy worked at the BOC Group (now part of Linde) in global M&A and business development roles. She started her career at KPMG in London.
Jill Lee-Young joined the Legal department of the Waterlogic Group in February 2006, working with the Executive and Board through the AIM listing in 2011 and the privatisation of the Group in 2015. Jill qualified as an English Solicitor in 1990 having trained at the City firm Eversheds, specialising in M&A. Jill has been Head of the in-house Legal department for 10 years, assisting senior management on all acquisitions, HR and employment, general commercial matters, litigation, corporate governance, company secretarial and general compliance. Jill supports the Group additionally in the areas of employee equity schemes, intellectual property management, insurance and data protection.
Steve joined Waterlogic in August 2015, originally as Group Treasurer, moving to Treasury & Tax Director in June 2019 and to his current role of Corporate Finance Director in March 2020. Steve is responsible for Waterlogic’s FP&A, MI, BI, Treasury and Tax functions. Prior to Waterlogic, he worked at Genworth Financial where he spent 8 years, with his final role being Head of International Treasury and Capital Management, leading on the funding, rating agency and regulatory capital needs of the international insurer. Prior to Genworth, Steve held a variety of finance roles in financial services organisations across differing geographies.
A South Korean national, having relocated to China with the factory move in 2004, Mr. Kim has been with the Group since 1996 and has vast experience in POU design and development. Colonel has been instrumental in the setting up of Waterlogic China after serving with Waterlogic Korea for more than 10 years. Colonel now heads up all the Group’s R&D projects and teams.
Jonathan Ben-David has worked for large international companies for many years in senior management positions. Prior to founding his own business in the UK, he worked for Soda Club International (now called Soda Stream and listed on the NASDAQ) as Group Special Projects Manager, tasked with setting up the Group’s international manufacturing facilities, including in the UK and Israel. In 1995, Jonathan set up a manufacturing company specialising in designing and manufacturing medical and laboratory plastics equipment. Initially, it was a sub-contractor for larger medical companies but gradually evolved to design, market and sell its own product ranges to the NHS and major laboratories in the UK. After the successful sale of this business, Jonathan joined Waterlogic in 2004 with the remit to set up and oversee the Group’s Chinese and Korean manufacturing facilities. Jonathan is now responsible for worldwide Manufacturing and R&D for the Group, to include sites in the U.S. and Australia, and has been based in Qingdao, China over the past 18 years.
Gerardo Álvarez has worked in the water cooler industry for nearly two decades during which time he was Managing Director of Aguaviva, exclusive partner of Waterlogic in Spain and which was acquired by Waterlogic in 2017. Thanks to his experience and success, Gerardo has continued in his role as Managing Director for Waterlogic Spain since the acquisition.
Gerardo has contributed to set up a pioneering business model for the HORECA market. Throughout his education and professional career, Gerardo has acquired an undeniable expertise when it comes to dealing with customers and stakeholders.
Philippe Barnetche joined Waterlogic France in July 2009 where he was instrumental in increasing revenue, staff numbers and MIF during his tenure, turning it into a significant contributor to the overall success of the company. He has significant commercial and management experience in finance leasing and IT systems integration organisations (including funding and growing a captive leasing subsidiary). Philippe is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility in China, ensuring the delivery of first-class products, developing and growing his team and supporting the long-term growth plan for manufacturing and R&D.
Veerle Claes has over 20 years’ experience in commercial management roles, building organisations and departments from scratch, and integrating companies after acquisitions. She has held senior management roles for over 10 years, all with a focus on customer experience, creating clear processes and employee engagement. She has a Master’s degree in Economical Sciences.
Carl joined Waterlogic in 2017 and is responsible for execution of global and regional strategies for the Waterlogic, Purezza and Billi brands in Australia and New Zealand. In 2018, Carl and his team executed the integration of the Billi Australia acquisition to add the under-the-sink category manufacturer to Waterlogic's global hydration platform portfolio. In late 2021, an additional key strategic acquisition in the region has seen the Waterlogic Group extend reach into New Zealand. Prior to Waterlogic, Carl was Managing Director of Chubb Security & Monitoring Solutions Australia (part of United Technologies). Earlier experience includes roles with Coca Cola Amatil and Unilever.
Nathan joined Waterlogic USA in June 2017. Nathan began his career working at Deloitte, where he spent several years working in M&A. Following his time at Deloitte, Nathan has held various private equity related positions both as an operator as well as working on the deal team. Immediately prior to joining Waterlogic USA, Nathan was the Chief Financial Officer of Microlease Americas, a private equity owned company, and helped oversee the successful exit of that business.
Mattias had previous managing director experience with two organisations before joining the Group, each focusing on the business-to-business market. With significant sales and management experience gained in the copier and printer and machinery industries, Mattias joined the Group in 2009 to manage its Swedish operations, Waterlogic Sweden (a direct sales business with an extensive customer base mainly in the larger Swedish cities), Escowa AB (which is entirely focused on trade sales) and Svensk Storköksservice (the biggest and leading service supplier for the professional kitchen sector). Since February 2020 Mattias has taken up the role as CEO Waterlogic Nordic, incorporating Waterlogic's businesses in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
Levente joined Waterlogic in August 2019. He has an economist qualification with over 20 years of sales & account management, business development and leadership background in service industry.
Levente came to us from Lindström Group (a global textile rental service company) where he spent 12 year in different business development roles in Europe and Russia; he actively participated in new country start-ups, successfully introduced new management and sales model, new products and services into markets.
As MD, his main responsibility is to grow & develop our business in Hungary by establishing superior service and customer experience.
David Parkes is Aqua Cure’s Managing Director, having had a highly successful career with the NSG-Pilkington Group and the Speedy Hire Group in senior business development and sales leadership roles. As a strong commercial operator, David is instrumental in driving Aqua Cure’s UK and international strategic growth, plus increasing its e-commerce presence.
Greg Pritchett joined Angel Springs in April 2014 as Business Development Director (MD Designate). Prior to this, Greg spent 20 years within the office products sector, predominantly supporting the business-to-business channel, across commercial, procurement, merchandising and management disciplines as Merchandising Director for Corporate Express UK and Staples Advantage UK, and Commercial Director, Spicers UK. Following the acquisition of Greenworks and PHS Waterlogic, and to support business growth and succession, Greg was promoted to Deputy Managing Director Waterlogic UK in October 2016 and is now Managing Director of Waterlogic UK & Ireland.
Rodrigo joined Waterlogic in January 2020. He is responsible for leading the expansion and development of Waterlogic’s business in Latin America, including the integration of six acquired companies in Chile, Puerto Rico and Colombia. He has considerable experience working in multinational companies, leading management and commercial teams. In his previous role, Rodrigo led RICOH's subsidiary in Chile for almost 6 years, delivering important achievements for the country and the Latin American region. Previously, he had a long and outstanding career in the commercial area of Hewlett Packard for almost 14 years, being a key player in the growth and consolidation of the corporate printing business. His began his career in the commercial area of the Unisys corporation.
Alex Szekely has been with Waterlogic since October 2016 during which time he has helped deliver and integrate several successful global acquisitions for the Group and been responsible for the management of subsidiaries in Hungary, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Alex has developed strategic opportunities for organic growth and entry into new markets. Since 2019, as MD of France, he has made significant contributions to the overall growth and success of the business. In his career, he has been COO of an investment fund, a management consultant, a chemical engineer at Continental Germany and he has an MBA from the London Business School.
Casey Taylor joined Waterlogic in September 2012 as part of the acquisition of Taylor Made Water Systems. His commitment to customer service has been core to his leadership in creating and growing the Taylor Made Water Systems business since 1999 into the largest independent POU dealership on the West Coast. Casey was a practicing attorney before his leadership within the water cooler industry and is active in the California Bar Association. As CEO of Waterlogic Americas, Casey is responsible for strategic growth in North America, including M&A, overall strategy, and corporate culture.
Ladislav Voců had been in the role of Manager Director at Lux Aqua prior to its full acquisition by Waterlogic in 2018, now re-branded as Waterlogic Czech Republic. Before that he was the Finance Manager at Lux Aqua CZ for over four years, having complete responsibility for all financial activities in CZ and SK. He has also held a number of other senior finance positions, such as CFO at Aon CEE, since completing his Master’s degree in Economics in 1999
Olaf Wilhelm ran a water treatment equipment company, Höcker GmbH, after his earlier career at his father’s laundry equipment and services business. Seeing the market opportunity for POU water dispensers in commercial laundries initially, Höcker GmbH was a distributor for Waterlogic products and after a joint venture in 2001 became Managing Director Waterlogic GmbH. The German operation became a ‘best practice’ model for the Waterlogic Group as it grew, and Olaf was appointed as COO in 2010. Olaf is a qualified mechanical engineer and a certified business economist. In January 2022, Waterlogic Germany celebrated its 20th anniversary under the successful and continuously growing leadership of Olaf Wilhelm, Kamen Dimov and Alen Gaspert.
Francesco joined Waterlogic in February 2011 as Director of International Sales and was promoted to the position of Managing Director of Waterlogic Trading in 2013. He and his team are responsible for the management and development of Waterlogic’s international dealers’ network, sales in over 50 countries, global supply chain and technical support. Prior to Waterlogic, Francesco covered a variety of senior international commercial roles in the Technology and Consumer Medical Devices industries.
