Waterlogic Strengthens US Management Team with Senior Appointments

Waterlogic Plc (AIM: WTL.L), a leading manufacturer and global distributor of point-of-use (“POU”) drinking water purification and dispensing systems, is pleased to announce three senior-level appointments in North America. The appointments further strengthen the US management team as the Company’s US subsidiaries, Waterlogic USA, innowave and CoolerSmart, continue their growth in the North American market.

Waterlogic has appointed Sergio Leymarie as President & CEO of Waterlogic USA effective as of 1 February 2012. Mr Leymarie will also be joining the Board of innowave and CoolerSmart, where he and his team will provide finance, marketing and technical support. As President & CEO of Waterlogic USA, Sergio Leymarie will be responsible for commercialising the innovative Waterlogic Firewall UV technology, the only technology in the POU dispenser market certified as able to guarantee 99.9999 per cent. pure water 100 per cent. of the time.

Tom Weekly has been appointed Non Executive Chairman of Waterlogic’s US subsidiaries at Waterlogic USA, innowave and CoolerSmart, effective as of 1 January 2012. In his new role, Tom will help guide the business whilst also supporting the group M&A function in acquisition-led growth in North America. In his former role as CEO of Waterlogic USA, Tom was instrumental in developing Waterlogic’s UV Firewall technology, mainly to the B2C markets.

Additionally, Barry Bleahen joins Waterlogic USA as Vice President of Marketing, North America, responsible for continuing to further strengthen the Waterlogic brand in the region. Barry reports to Sergio Leymarie.

Bill Logan continues as CEO of the trade and direct businesses of innowave and CoolerSmart supported by Bob Junk, as divisional VP of innowave.
